If you didn’t know I was talking about ships, that title probably seems a little strange. But I am talking about ships. So, no need to worry, there. π
This last weekend our family went up to see the 18th century reproduction ship, The Lady Washington, in port. I was not forgetting my camera for anything.
It’s a little hard not to be so excited about ships after watching and reading so much Horatio Hornblower…
Anyway, though we didn’t get to tour them like we thought, it was still a great day for photography. Plus, the other ship, The Hawaiian Chieftan was there too, so more pictures! π
Here are the shots I got:
That was the first mast we saw coming around the corner out of the parking lot. My brother was teasing me in a Steve-monkey-voice saying “Excited! Excited!” over and over again while I was taking pictures. XD Okay, I looked aΒ little excited…
And, there’s The Hawaiian Chieftan!
The state flag flies high.
Little bits and bobs around the ship.
And the side of the dock.
The Lady out sailing. Doesn’t she look out of place with all those houses in back?
Coming back into port.
… and she’s docked again. Now I can get more pictures. π
A sort of welcome mat on where they climb aboard.
The ship’s bell.
The Lady herself. The Chieftan looked to shifty to merit a picture of him.
Cool reflection.
There was a block and tackle hanging over the water for some reason. Oh well. It made a good picture.
LotsΒ of ropes.Β
Rigging.
And the grand masts.
Hope you enjoyed!

Hi Rosey, I was wondering if you hade seen all the (September 23 2015) stuff going around and what you thought about it? And ya I know it’s a weird question. π
I’ve seen some stuff on it. But we’ll see what happens.
Ya that how I feel, but my parents are doing so much research on t I thought I’d ask another persons opinion on it, hope every thing is good with you. π
Actually the most fascinating thing I’ve seen on it was Jonathan Cahn’s teaching at El Shaddai. We watched it on the livestream. Maybe your parents would be interested in that.

Thanks! π
My fave is the “lots of ropes” one. And I like it in black and white.
I like that one a lot too. π It’s amazing how they keep track of what rope does what. π
Reminds me of my necklaces – but more organized. π
