Sukkot Hiatus

Hey, everyone!

So, starting tonight is the holiday of Sukkot. A holiday where we camp out in our porch/fort/sukkah and decorate everything with leaves and fall things. We also shake a bundle of branches called a Lulav and a lemon-looking thing called an Etrog.

It’s like a lemon with a really thick rind.

We made Etrog-ade one year when we were done with it.

Anyway.

During this week, our family be taking an internet fast and trying to stay off electronics as much as possible. So, I’m explaining my coming absence to all you peoples in advance.

There will be nice goodies coming after the week is over, however.

Sukkot is one of my favorite times of year for photography, and I’ll still be using my camera, so there will be lots of pictures for everyone.

It’s a time of year for baked goods and squash, so recipes are a possibility as well.

And I think I will still be writing at least a little, so the next episode of my series, Following Orders, will be forthcoming, as well as a few short stories.

All this and more in the works after the writefury goes offline tonight!

Good things are coming, but you’ll have to hang on to the end of the week. πŸ™‚

Thank you. You’re all such nice, patient followers. ❀

    1. Thanks! πŸ™‚ Well, it wasn’t exactly camping. More sleeping out on the porch. Goodness, I had no idea my nose could get so cold. The rest of me was pretty warm, though. πŸ˜›
