Hey, everybody!
Well, tonight starts the eight nights of Chanukah. For those of you unfamiliar, this is the holiday that commemorates the Jewish Maccabees’ defeat over Antiochus, and afterwards, the miracle of the lamp oil lasting for eight days. Hence the eight day celebration.
Anyway, it’s fun. Plenty of twinkle lights and blue tinsel up everywhere. Squink and I have a really pretty multicolored string in our room. π
So, for the week, I’ll be off of here celebrating with family, rubbing my sore typing hand and recovering from NaNoWriMo. And preparing for a choir/band concert, too, actually. But that’s just the last night. π
I’ll take plenty of fun menorah pictures and hopefully get some good instruction pics for our donut recipe (!).
As last time, I’ll be leaving a poll for what you guys want to see first when I get back.
Here it is, please vote!
Some funny pictures:

And enjoy some Chanukah favorites from our house! π
Both those are Maccabeats parodies. Here’s one from our most played Hannukah disc.
And some cool videos on the book of Maccabees while we’re at it:
Chanukah: Book of the Maccabees Uncovered (this is seriously cool, you guys really should check it out. Plus, it’s animated. π )
Feel free to browse old posts on my blog and comment. I’ll be a bit responding, but I’d love to come back to a full notification center. XP
Well, I’ll miss you guys, and I’ll be back soon!
Thanks for being patient. β€
Happy Chanukah, everyone! π

Have fun! Can’t wait ’til you’re back! π
I WANT TO SEE EVERYTHING. >:-D
And you shall, dear Erin. You shall. >:)
X-D Hooray!
Lieutenant Bush and the Eighth Doctor in the same room. Ironically, though their personalities are totally different, their senses of humor are really similar. Eight’s sense of humor is more whimsical, but I can just imagine them after a while coming at Grace and Horatio with the exact same bad puns. X-P
Also, they do the exact same eyebrow raise “Reaaaaaalllllyyyyyyy?” thing. it’s kind of weird. X-P And ironically they both do it to show their humor at a situation. The unamused expression is completely different from the eyebrow raise. Eight also raises both his eyebrows when he’s excited or pleased.

You have to scroll down a bit, but Bush is on there. ;-P
Haha, niiice. XD Loved that bit. Everyone burst out laughing at Bush’s eyebrow raise in that episode. He’s just so obviously seeing what Horatio is doing, but deciding to just raise an eyebrow and say nothing. XP
Bush’s sense of humor… hmm… actually I’d pegged him with a touch of what I call “Bob the Tomato humor”. Sort of the only-sane-man sort of thing with the occasional humorous victimhood. (See: “No… no… sorry, gentlemen, no..”and “Alright, Mr. Kennedy, that’s quite enough.”)
Not really. I think that he actually appreciates Horatio’s brand of insanity and only jokes that he’s the only sane one. π Which, ironically, Eight sometimes does the same thing–humorous victimhood, I mean, when he’s really secretly enjoying the whole thing. Bush is really good at catching on to other people’s BS but chooses to not call them on it, instead deciding to appreciate it ironically, internally. I’m trying to type him, Myers-Briggs wise, but it’s hard. I would have said that he was extraverted, because he clearly enjoys Horatio’s and Archie’s company but he’s also a private person and his humor is a bit internalized as well… I’m pretty sure he’s somewhat intuitive, especially where it concerns Horatio doing something stupid, but he seems to be sensing just as much–He’s not as logical as Horatio, but he’s still very reserved, emotionally speaking… I’m pretty sure that he’s more judging than percieving though… so ISFJ? Maybe? I don’t even know! *sigh*
(Eight is absolutely INTJ, though. Which is the same type as me, what a surprise. π I think EVERY incarnation of the Doctor has an intuitive-type personality, it’s the one constant. Also, it seems like N-types play really well off of S-types. I think it’s because they complement each other well.)
Hmm… He is a bit of a riddle. ISFP comes to mind, going by functions. Bush is actually pretty well rounded.
Yeah. It’s the people who’ve adapted very well who are the hardest to pin down. *sigh*
but we both agree that he’s introverted? Interesting. π
Well, whatever he is, he has a well developed inferior function.
Mm.
