Hey, everyone!
So, looks like I’ve been tagged by Greta for the 3 day Quote Challenge, which looks pretty awesome. π
We’ll be doing that today. *nod*
The rules for that:
- Thank the person who nominated you. (Thanks, Greta! <3)
- Nominate 3 new bloggers every day.
- Post a new quote every day for 3 consecutive days.
Easy enough. And perfect for while I’m on a road trip. XD
Here’s the first one, from a read-aloud we just finished called “The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic”:
ISN’T THAT AN AWESOME QUOTE?!
*goosebumps* I love it. β€
And I tag…
and Xena (new to the blogging world. Go welcome her and steal her gifs)
And I’ll be back tomorrow with more! π
In other news, the road trip continues, with lots of exciting things.
I’ve pretty much stationed myself in the backseat with Daniel. We have agreed to pretend that it sucks and we’re such put-upon older siblings. But really we’re quite happy. We have leg room. We get served first when cookies get passed out. We can watch Captain America and Mission Impossible together when we get a turn with the iPad…. it’s quite nice.
Just… shh. Don’t tell that it’s awesome. Our secret can’t get out.
A couple of days ago, I actually got to MEET my blogger bud, Erin Kenobi and her sibs since we were driving through the area. It was an fantastic evening that included cupcakes and lots of writing talks. (I dare you to go wrong with that…)
Also last night we finished our aforementioned read-aloud, The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic. It was delightful and quirky with hilarious characters and lots of adventure. Definitely recommend that. β€
Four days until the writer’s workshop!
And this morning, we were parked next to a campsite that had an inexplicable, giant, stuffed gorilla stationed at their table that no one in the campsite seemed to pay any attention to. (It actually appeared in the middle of the night and freaked John out)
Anyway. Yep.
That’s life.
How’s yours going?
Please comment, as always!

Nice quote! I like it.
Your road trip sounds like it’s lots of fun! Don’t worry; I won’t tell your secret. π
Thanks!
Yes… *finger to lips* hush-hush about the backseat secrets… π
That is a perfect quote. I can remember when I got “stuck” in the back seat… Good times, now I sit behind the driver and pretend I didn’t just get water dumped all over me. Not complaining though sometimes the driver will give me various unhealthy snacks π
Yes, I’m quite “stuck”… *coughs and watches more Back to the Future*
That’s always nice. π The downside is we miss any plans being made up in the front. So we suddenly turn off to some wacky place we’ve never heard of and Daniel and I are just like “Wait, what’s going on…”
OKAY SO IT’S SO AWESOME THAT YOU GOT TO MEET YOUR BLOGGING FRIEND. XD I’ve always wanted to meet some of mine… maybe next year at a writer’s conference. *nods* Also great quote. *thumbs up* When we went on a road trip last month to Vegas, I was also in the back most of the way… except we did the entire dive in one day. Also our back seat is small. So yeah that was… exciting. XD
I KNOW IT WAS VERY INCREDIBLY AWESOME. (And yes come next year you must)
Oh, yeah… before we got the bigger van, I practically had my head between my knees when I sat in the back… XD
Ahhhh that does sound fun. π Hope the rest of your trip goes well!
Thanks! π
Oh dear… what to do…
Expect excessive saturations of sarcastic Doctor Who quotes and whatnot. Literally all I can think of right now is “Don’t be lasagna!” from Twelve.
*nod* That’s what I expected. And that’s why I tagged you. XD
What?! Just because you wanted lots of Doctor Who quotes? π
Nonono… because I knew you’d have fun picking them out. XP
Thanks π

So THAT’S what you’re doing in the back seat! *opens vac yum and throws it back at you* *and adds some waffles too* π
